Cambodian silk is famous throughout the world. It is generally hand-loomed in the traditional manner. Both raw silk and fine silk are available in Phnom Penh. Sarongs, handicrafts, and silk clothing are the highlights, which are available at the Russian Market and silk boutiques.

Another Cambodian specialty available in Phnom Penh is the silverware. It is mainly available in the shape of betel containers. These containers are the perfect souvenirs for travelers. These creations are made in the form of vegetables, fruits, and animals and are still crafted traditionally. Silverware can be found at jewelry stores, traditional markets, and souvenir shops.
The beauty of Cambodian artistry can also be seen in statues and carvings of traditional themes. Such themes include Hindu gods, imitations of artifacts of the Angkor period, and Buddha figures.

Cambodian gems are also famous throughout the world. Quality sapphires, rubies and many other colored stones are available in the market. In Phnom Penh, plenty of gem dealers can be found. Both famous jewelers and local dealers can be found at the Central Market and the Russian Market.
Products from famous brands can also be found in Phnom Penh. Imitations of these brands are also available so that people who are on a budget can also buy souvenirs. The quality of these imitations-varies, so you should check the replica carefully before buying it.
